Case closed
A driver returning from a trip to the bathroom found a student in the driver’s seat of the bus tampering with the controls. He then reported the student to UPD.

An individual in the lobby created a disturbance after being asked to show his GWorld card (medical school officials require all visitors to medical buildings to show identification, as part of their security procedure).

Case closed
UPD was notified that a fire extinguisher was discharged in a hallway. A group of high school students were staying on the floor and UPD, upon searching the rooms, found marijuana in plain sight in a room.

Mount Vernon Pub – 1:35 a.m.
Case closed
A University Police officer observed several individuals smoking from a hookah pipe on the deck of the Mount Vernon Pub. After it was determined that the individuals were smoking tobacco, the hookah pipe was confiscated and the students were cited for possession of smoking paraphernalia.

An officer patrolling the hallways found an intoxicated student on the third floor. The student was transported to the emergency room for excessive consumption.

UPD officers responding to a report of a fight at 25th and I streets found one person limping on the sidewalk. The individual refused to cooperate with the officers and declined to provide any information concerning the alleged altercation.

A female employee reported that her boyfriend physically threatened her.

Public space – 6:10 p.m.
Open case
A male reported that while walking west on F Street, he was approached by a homeless person who began yelling racial and ethnic slurs at him. The individual reportedly pushed the homeless person, who then fled the scene.
