The Program Board is negotiating with hip-hop group Jurassic 5 to headline this year’s Spring Fling.

While PB Executive Chair Brian Gless said he was optimistic the group would perform at GW, he said “anything could still happen.”

“They’re ready to come, we just need that signed contract that says they’re coming,” Gless said.

While PB cannot officially confirm the group will lead the April 6 show, Jurassic 5’s Web site lists the event on its tour roster.

“We’re still looking around and waiting for some updated budget figures,” Gless said, noting other acts will be booked after negotiations with Jurassic 5 are completed.
