SA announces fundraising plan
The Student Association announced a plan for “Campaign 2004,” a fundraising initiative aimed at local and national businesses. SA President Phil Robinson said the initiative is expected to raise $40,000 for the SA over the course of the next few years.

“We’re building a framework for future administrations,” Robinson said.

The SA is expected to make further announcements about the initiative in the coming weeks.

Town Hall meeting features MPD chief
The SA will host a Town Hall meeting Monday in the Marvin Center Amphitheater at 8 p.m.

The event will include a presentation of campus security by Metropolitan Police Chief Charles Ramsey and John Petrie, GW assistant vice president for Public Safety and Emergency Management.

The event will also feature a presentation from the Rape Aggression Defense Demonstration. All students are invited to attend and express their concerns and learn about current security plans.
