Theta Delta Chi to paint Miriam’s Kitchen
The Theta Delta Chi fraternity will paint Miriam’s Kitchen Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Sophomore Bryan Grackin, Theta Delta Chi’s rush and alumni chair, said he expects about 20 out of the 30 fraternity members to attend.

“As part of the GW community it is important to get ourselves into the community … it’s important to show (Foggy Bottom residents) that we like to give back to the community,” Grackin said.

The soup kitchen, located at 23rd Street and Virginia Avenue, hosts meals as well as programs including writing workshops for the homeless and a veterans’ outreach program.

Organizations to dine and dance
The Delta Sigma Theta sorority and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity will hold their Krimson and Kream Gala Saturday night. From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., the members will dine and dance in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door. E-mail [email protected] for ticket information.
