Harassment
9/15/02- Thurston Hall 11:10 p.m.
A student complained of being harassed via the internet by a male she met for coffee. The complainant said she paid more attention to the man’s roommate and he began harassing her. The student attempted to block his e-mails and was frightened that he continued to e-mail her.

9/13/02- Crawford 11:45 a.m.
A student reported a harassing phone call from a former roommate. According to the student, there have been incidents since the end of July.

Simple Assault
9/13/02- 19th Street entrance to the World Bank 1:35 a.m.
Two individuals, a 19-year-old male and an older man, were sprayed with pepper spray by an unknown individual. The two men were treated by EMS units.

Liquor Law Violation
9/13/02- Thurston Hall 12:10 a.m.
A University Police officer witnessed an individual “stumbling” into Thurston Hall after exiting a cab. The student was stopped by officers and appeared to be intoxicated. Officers then transported the student to the emergency room to be evaluated.

9/13/02- Thurston Hall 12:15 a.m.
A UPD officer witnessed a seemingly intoxicated student entering Thurston. Officers transported the student, who was found in possession of a fake ID, to the emergency room to be evaluated.

9/13/02- 621 22nd (Tau Kappa Epsilon house) 12:20 a.m.
UPD were notified that MPD arrested two students for alcohol violations. One student was arrested for consuming alcohol on public property, a second for underage consumption of alcohol. Both were taken into custody by MPD and processed.

Soliciting Without a Permit
9/12/02- Stockton Hall 12:35 p.m.
An individual sold pictures to students and staff without going through the University process for obtaining permission.
Closed, subject barred from campus.

Theft
9/14/02- Gelman Library Unknown time
A bicycle was stolen from the racks in front of the library.

9/13/02- Academic Center 5:30 p.m.
A laptop computer was stolen from an office.
Closed, no witnesses
