Assault with a dangerous weapon: shoed foot
11/17 – 21st and H streets
UPD received a phone call about a fight between two males at about 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they found one of the men, who said he had been punched in the nose and kicked. He was taken to the emergency room. The other male was arrested by MPD at his residence at 825 New Hampshire Ave.

Bomb threat
11/9 – GW Support Building
An unknown male called the mail service office in a GW Support building and with a bomb threat. UPD swept the building and found nothing, but called the MPD bomb squad, which conducted its own sweep and also found nothing.

Burglary
11/22 – Off Campus
UPD officers were patrolling at about 4:40 a.m. when they heard an alarm coming from the Froggy Bottom Pub. They noticed the basement window was smashed, at which point a subject exited the building and fled the scene on a bicycle. An undetermined amount of cash and liquor was stolen.

Fraud
A GW employee reported that her Exxon credit card had been used without her knowledge at an Exxon station in Southeast D.C. The charge was approximately $130. The employee said she thought the card had been stolen out of her purse.

11/13 – A male student and five friends attempted to enter the Health and Wellness Center. The student’s card was not coded for access to the building and he was denied access. He began shouting at the staff, at one point saying, “You guys are dead.”

Unlawful entry
11/11 – A homeless man was found in the basement of Fulbright Hall, bleeding from a head laceration. EMeRG responded and took the man to GW Hospital. The man had been barred from campus in April 2000 and was arrested for unlawful entry.
