WEB EXCLUSIVE: GW observes silence

Posted 11:45 p.m. Sept. 13-Responding to a national address from President George W. Bush, GW has requested professors, students and staff to observe a national moment of silence at noon Friday for those lost in Tuesday’s tragedies at the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

The University will also participate at a national candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. in the Quad.

7:45 p.m. group meets to go to St. Patrick’s (10th and G streets) for 8:30 p.m. service
