Golfer Thomas Blankvoort added to his academic resume June 14 when the Atlantic 10 Conference named him to the spring Academic All-Conference Team. Blankvoort, a graduate student with one year of eligibility remaining, joins senior rower Megan Doyle on the team.

Blankvoort maintains a 3.6 grade point average and was selected June 8 to the All-America Scholars Division I Team. Earlier this month the NCAA District II ranking committee named him to the its all-district team.

Blankvoort won the GW Invitational in April, beating out 148 other golfers with an even-par 144 (72-72). He finished the season with six top-10 finishes and three top-20 finishes in 13 tournaments.
