News Brief: Driver attempts to lure another victim

For the fourth time since February, a man in a car attempted to expose himself to a woman near GW’s campus April 16, said Dolores Stafford, director of University Police. The woman who reported the incident recognized the man from a similar incident when? in which the man asked her for directions while he masturbated in his car.

The student was on the corner of 22nd and L streets when a man in a light-colored, compact car asked for directions to New York Avenue at about 11:30 a.m.

The woman did not approach the car, and told UPD she thought the man was trying to expose himself to her, Stafford said.

Similar incidents took place Feb. 11 at the same intersection, Feb. 27 on the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue and March 22 at the intersection of 22nd and G streets, according to University Police.

Metropolitan Police could not be reached for comment. MPD is investigating the previous incidents.
