The Program Board cancelled the Our Lady Peace and American Hi Fi concert Wednesday after it was informed that the lead singer of Our Lady Peace, Raine Maida, was sick and unable to perform, said Seth Weinert, PB executive chair.

“Rather than carry on the show with only American Hi Fi, we have decided to refund the show,” Weinert said. “Unfortunately it’s too late to book another show and the band has the legal right to cancel any show.”

Weinert said that students can exchange their for the tickets for the Wednesday night performance beginning Thursday at the Marvin Center Ticket Master office but will still be able to keep any CDs they received. PB and GW will not lose money as a result of the cancellation, he said.

Weinert said there is no way to reach every ticket holder but PB will send out e-mails to the PB list serve and post signs around campus about the cancellation.
