GW trails Xavier by just half a game for the A-10 regular season title and a No. 1 seed in the A-10 Tournament held in Philadelphia. The Colonials are closing in on their ninth NCAA bid in the past 11 seasons. Last year GW earned an at-large bid after losing to Xavier in the A-10 championship game.
