Man robs student at gunpoint

A GW student was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man while walking alone at 19th and M streets early Sunday morning, University Police officials said.The student was returning to campus from Rumors, a bar at 1900 M St., around 1 a.m. when a man wearing a black ski mask approached him from behind and put a gun to his head, said Anthony Roccogrande, associate director of the University Police Department.The student handed his money over to the man after the robber told the student, Give me your money or I’ll kill you, Roccogrande said.The man, described as a six-foot, three-inch white male weighing more than 200 pounds, fled on foot.
