Where are we going tonight?

How about My Brother’s Place?

Your brother lives in D.C.?

No, it’s a bar.

Your brother owns a bar?

The Three Wisemen gathered up a small group of friends and decided to go to My Brother’s Place on 2nd St. near the Capitol Saturday for the $10 all-you-can-drink special.

The Bar is just a few blocks from the Judiciary Square and Union Station Metro stops, and the walk was fine on such a nice night. The bar is tucked away on a little road, but once there you know you have found something good.

We each paid $10 at the door and the taps flowed all night. We sent Jos? on a tactical mission to get a table for the group. My Brother’s Place has a nice bar and a sitting area in an enclosed porch.

With 20 different types of beer on tap, including Yuengling, Pete’s Wicked, Budweiser and Sam Adams, there was plenty of selection. The waitress was really nice and made sure that our glasses were always full. Even though we paid at the door and weren’t running a tab, she was so great we decided to break from our usual poor college student form and leave her a healthy tip.

This place is a great hangout. With the low price and great selection of beer, Three Wisemen give My Brother’s Place three mugs up.
