I just wanted to congratulate Gayle Horwitz for her piece on enjoying living in D.C. In your undergraduate tenure at GW, you can very easily lose sight of living in one of the coolest places in the world. Not many other people get a chance to go to the Capitol on Labor Day to see the National Symphony play. Nor do many other people get the off chance at bumping into the president (or at least, his dog) when they go out for a run.

Enjoy it while you can because, just like you will experience the life of the city and you will graduate on the Ellipse, you will also miss GW once you’re gone!
