GW basketball players Mark Lund and Marlo Egleston were named the most outstanding senior athletes Monday at the University’s annual Senior Honors Luncheon.

Lund and Egleston received the J. Dallas Shirley Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award and the Lynn George Outstanding Senior Women Athlete award, respectively, for strong academic and athletic contribution to GW. Both seniors were Rhodes Scholar candidates.

Also honored at the luncheon were the 21 Most Valuable Players, representing each sport including the spirit program (listed below).
