Greg Conden earned Atlantic 10 Pitcher and Rookie of the Year honors Thursday in a vote conducted by the league’s head coaches. The dominating GW freshman finished the regular season 9-1 with a 3.22 earned-run average. Conden struck out a league-leading 84 batters while yielding just 41 walks in 95 innings pitched.

The two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week joins senior teammate Matt Walker on the A-10 All-conference team. Walker earned the honors with a .413 batting average and an A-10 leading 69 RBIs. He also started all 55 regular season games for the Colonials and led the team with 86 hits and 58 runs scored.

GW juniors Dan Rouhier and Adam Belicic as well as sophomores Mike Bassett and Matt Krimmel were named to the A-10 second team.
