Programming praise

On behalf of the entire GW Program Board, I would like to thank the GW community for their overwhelming support of Spring Fling 2000 and other PB events this year. No matter how you slice it, our greatest measure of success is the feedback we get from you, the students. We have received tons of positive feedback on Spring Fling 2000, an event which we began planning for in January.

Spring Fling was not just an opportunity for students to come out and frolic in the sun. It empowered students to exercise control over how their money is spent at GW, gave them practical event planning experience and allowed them to work as a team to provide for their fellow students. That’s what PB is all about.

I remember when I was a freshman and I got that massive mailer from admissions with Something Happens Here printed all over it. Well, that’s PB. We are what happens here. When you return to campus in the fall, come to our meetings, help plan our events, and decide what that something is.
