Rutgers tops GW

The GW women’s tennis team fell 6-3 to Rutgers University Friday. Freshman Tracy Wei improved to 14-8 with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Rutgers’ Donna Krouzman in No. 1 singles action. Wei teamed with senior Sarine Weingarten to pick up a No. 1 doubles victory, 8-5.

Men’s water polo receives academic honor

The men’s water polo team was honored by the American Water Polo Coaches Association Tuesday as an All-Academic Team. As one of 21 teams recognized, the squad had a cumulative 2.91 grade point average. In the pool, the team finished 7-21 last fall.

Hoyas top GW lacrosse

The GW men’s club lacrosse team lost Sunday to Georgetown, 10-9. Peter Sayia had three goals for the Colonials, while Andrew Stergiopoulos and John Terizinski added two apiece.
