The GW men’s golf A team finished 19th (with a score of 648) out of 27 teams at the GW Invitational last weekend. The B team (654) finished 20th.
The 36-hole tournament, held April 2 and 3 at the Swan Point Yacht and Country Club in Issue, Md., was won by Iona College (612).
GW’s Michael Goldman was the top Colonial, shooting 160 (80-80) and finishing in a five-way tie for 48th. Dugan Condon of Villanova University won the Invitational with a three-over par 147 (72-75).
GW’s Brad Friedlander (161), Darren Ressler (162), Dan Reardon (162) and Ryan Day (163) rounded out the Colonials’ top five.
