Facts about BD’s

Since opening in Bethesda, Md., BD’s Mongolian Barbeque has learned some interesting facts about area diners. Did you know that your fellow Washingtonians like to chow down on calamari? Or do you know their favorite veggie? BD’s Mongolian Barbeque in Bethesda did a little calculating and found some things about the tastes of their diners.

Chicken wins as the most popular meat. Shrimp takes first place as the most popular seafood, but calamari is often thrown in for a seafood combo. As for veggies, George Bush would be aghast. Washingtonian dine on broccoli more than the other veggies, but onions and mushrooms follow close behind.

When it comes to sauces, BD’s diners stick with the basic teriyaki much of the time. It was chosen more often than other sauces. However, not all stick with what they know. Peanut sauce and sweet and sour come in as the second-place winners.

Whatever the taste of the Washington diner, BD’s has something that is sure to suit anyone’s taste buds. After all, if you don’t like your dinner, you have only yourself to blame.
