The Hawks are a team of late-20s players who all once attended the Five Star Basketball Camp. The Hawks play St. John’s University Wednesday night and have already played Wake Forest University, the University of North Carolina, Davidson College and Duke University. The Hawks beat Davidson 91-84 and lost to Duke 128-80.
I hope they’re very good, Coach Tom Penders said. When you play guys 28, 30 years old, you gotta go out and defend them.
