Corrections

In the story “Walking the Walk: Hundreds of GW students take to the streets to fight AIDS,” which ran Monday, Sept. 27, the number of total walkers who participated in AIDS Walk Washington 1999 was incorrect. The correct number was estimated at more than 22,000 participants.

In a front page story (“Students lobby Congress,” Sept. 27), The GW Hatchet incorrectly reported economics Professor Robert M. Dunn Jr.’s role at the Federal Reserve Board. Dunn served as an economist with the Federal Reserve Board for two years in the 1960s. He was not a member of the board.

The men’s and women’s soccer previews in Monday’s Fall Sports Preview and Review contained factual errors. Next Thursday, The Hatchet will print revised previews of the Atlantic 10 season.
