Cross country and crew open seasons with major home events
Saturday, the men’s and women’s crew teams will take the water for the first time as they host the Head of the Potomac at the Thompson Boat House (end of Virginia Avenue) on the Potomac River. Both crews will race in the morning. The meet begins at 8:30 a.m.
Sunday, the men’s and women’s cross country teams will host the GW Invitational at Bull Run Park in Centreville, Va. A picnic will be held afterwards for fans in attendance. A fan bus will leave from outside the Smith Center at 9:15 a.m.
