Thanks from the fans

As a (hopefully) graduating senior of this fine institution, I’ve been to quite a few basketball games in my four years here, both home and away. In fact, you may have seen my friends and I at the games. We’re the people who wear those retina-burning yellow shirts and sit down in the student section, screaming like crazy.

Despite the fact that I’m graduating in May, I fully intend to attend next season’s games because I, like many other students here at GW, can’t wait to see Penders Ball develop.

To men’s basketball coach Penders, Rob Wright, Bonzie Colson and Tommy Penders Jr. Thanks for giving us a new game and coaches who encourage the team, as well as the fans.

To the men’s basketball team: Thanks for a great season and good luck on Thursday. Those of us who can’t make it this time will be cheering from home, yellow shirts and all. See you next season.
