160 - Student Groups Can be placed by:
  • Student Orgs

    For:
  • General Membership Meetings

    Cannot be placed for:
  • General Recruitment
  • Events not approved or endorsed by GW
  • Events where alcohol will be served, unless approved by GW's CADE office
  • Events not taking place on the University's Foggy Bottom or Mt. Vernon campuses
    • 180 - Study Groups Can be placed by:
  • Individual Students

    For:
  • Study groups
  • Class preparation groups

    Cannot be placed for:
  • Private tutors
  • Work not assigned as group work
  • Preparation for courses not offered by GW (i.e. GRE prep classes, DC Consortium classes, etc.)
    • 190 - Special Events Can be placed by:
  • Student Orgs
  • Individual Students

    For:
  • Student Org Events
  • Dances
  • Fundraisers
  • Other special events

    Cannot be placed for:
  • General Recruitment

  • Seeking other students to share off-campus housing

    All ads must be placed by a current GW student with a valid GWorld card by the deadline for the issue. All ads must be placed in person at the GW Hatchet business office (2140 G St, NW) during normal business hours. No ads will be accepted from a student placing them on behalf of someone else. Each student or student org may place up to 4 free ads per semester. Ads placed for a student org by a member of the organization will be placed under the organizations account. Members of student groups cannot "donate" their personal free ads to their organization. Additional ads may be purchased at the regular student rate of $5 for up to 20 words per each insertion.
