Shame on the University's Center for Academic Technologies (CATS) and its Executive Director P.B. Garrett.
I was disappointed to learn that CATS decided over winter break to place restrictions on student printing. CATS operates computer lab facilities at the Marvin Center, the basement of the Academic Center and across campus. These restrictions will impact countless numbers of students.

It's good to be back in The Hatchet. My semester off really helped me sort out some spiritual and physical problems I had with my Spanish-channel habit. It was tough, but my three-month stay at La Iglesia del Cabr?n, located deep in the rainforest jungles of Idaho, really helped me establish my sense of self outside of the twisted, bubbling world of Channel 31.
On Dec. 3, a life was lost. A troubled soul found a way to deal with his pain. My brother, Joe Spradlin, was a great man. Many people knew of his love of music and drums. I know that I'll always remember the beat that went on in his head. That constant beat was his rhythm in life. Everyday and everything fit together in a rhythm for him.
(U-WIRE) NASHVILLE, Tenn. - As many of us prepare to enter the "real world" in May, the job market we are encountering does not resemble the job market our predecessors faced when they graduated.

Three hundred years ago, letters were the only way to communicate long distances. They took weeks, even months, to pass hands between the sender and recipient. Now, more than 100 million people, including just about every college student you know, are chatting in real time over the internet.

The Pleasure Place Tuesday, Jan. 15 7 p.m. The scene: a very windy night in Georgetown with a couple of friends. The destination: some sort of sex shop. The mission: to find the perfect and funniest gag gift idea. Now, let me begin by saying that I am defifinitely not an expert when it comes to shopping for the kind of items that are found in a sex shop.

The Colonials can establish themselves as contenders in the Atlantic 10 West conference this week with a good showing against Xavier, which they host Thursday, and St. Joseph's, which they visit on Saturday. A win in either game would be a statement for GW, but it will not come easily.

The season of the Cinderella Bears will come to an end Saturday in Soldier Field, where the Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles. This game will be a match of dominating defenses and, in the end, the Eagles' balanced offense and a duo of running backs, Duce Staley and Correll Buckhalter, will create too many problems for Chicago.

After almost ten years of playing on the road, DC ska band, The Pietasters continue to deliver crazy beer-fueled mayhem to the masses. The band has played with big stars and even graced the screen of MTV. They still maintain their DC residence when they're not touring however, and manage to easily sell out DC's 9:30 club several times a year.

I've got bruises, the left ear's not working so well and I got kicked in the head more than a few times. Shaved heads, smelly mosh pits, testosterone-fueled anger and a whole lot of screaming - what else could you ask for on a Sunday in the nation's capital?

The night was young and held a world of possibilities. Well, sort of. It was Tuesday night and the Bar Belle was in a pissy mood. You see, lately she has been looking for love in all the wrong places.
