It doesn’t seem like there are any snow days in the immediate future, but here are some other things to look forward to:
- Folk-pop outfit The Magnetic Fields will be kicking off their 2010 tour at Lisner Auditorium Feb. 4; tickets are $28 for GW students and $35 for the general public. Before you go, check out the group’s latest album, “Realism,” which was released Jan. 26.
- Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock will be discussing “Super Size Me” at the Corcoran Gallery of Art Feb. 2. Tickets are $20.
- Program Board will be showing the controversial movie “Precious” Feb. 2 in the Marvin Center, as part of its free Spring Film Series.
And here’s some good news:
- The Hatchet has a nice video this week from the Tai Shan farewell festival. Pandas! Yay!
