A 22-year-old student from the University of Maryland University College died Monday after he was stabbed in a large fight at a Dupont Circle nightclub.
Sephar Jean-Simon was unconscious when he was taken to GW Hospital Monday morning. The fight broke out at about 2:10 a.m. Monday on the sidewalk outside the Midtown Partyplex nightclub, according to a Washington Post report. Details of what caused the fight, where a police officer was also injured, are unknown.
No arrests have been made for the stabbing. A suspect was last seen running down Connecticut Avenue in a yellow sweatshirt.
Jean-Simon was in his second year at the community college and lived in Silver Spring.
