3413 Connecticut Ave.

If you’re on the hunt for a gift that’s a little more personal, paint and bake your heart away at All Fired Up!, a walk-in studio where you can paint and keep your own pottery.

The little studio is chock-full of organized clutter, with multiple shelves of paint and craft supplies. The shop is long and thin, with a majority of the space being taken up by the low wood tables covered in butcher paper, designed to fit all ages.

The best part of All Fired Up! is the free studio time to make your masterpiece. Customers are encouraged to take their time and create the best mug, pot or dish they can for a baseline price of $20 to $25. Some pieces cost as little as $2, and included in all prices is instruction from the store assistant and the glazing and firing of your masterpieces.

The Cleveland Park location also offers fused glass, mosaics and acrylic painting.

Although individual reservations are no longer allowed, groups of 12 or more can reserve the studio for a fee.
