A parent not affiliated with the University reported that her 12-year-old son stole several items while attending a GW sports camp. Several sunglasses and bags were taken. The mother returned the property to University Police Department.

A staff member reported to UPD that a laptop was stolen from his office. Metropolitan Police Department responded after the staff member requested the officers’ presence.

UPD approached an individual tampering with bicycles in front of the academic center. The man had been previously barred from GW’s campus in 2014. He was arrested and transported to the MPD police station.

UPD saw an intoxicated male subject. He was taken to GW Hospital and released.

A UPD officer saw that a brick structure was damaged, likely from a vehicle hitting the building. A few bricks were dislodged and loose.

A staff member reported a touch-screen computer monitor in a classroom was cracked.

A female student reported receiving a phone call from an unknown man in Florida who said her father was involved in an automobile accident and demanded money. The student called her father and confirmed he was not involved in any such accident. Upon investigation, MPD determined that the call was similar to scams previously reported in Florida.
