Alexandria, Va. residents Jake Akins, Mim English, Chris Armstrong, Olivia Troye Boyle, Alice English and Brent Boyle pour buckets of ice water over their heads to complete the Ice Bucket Challenge in support of ALS awareness. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease. They also said they would donate to the ALS Association.
