      Blackface is to black people what this is to women. He’s not imitating a gay person, he’s imitating a woman. As a woman, I find it funny.

    While drag is only a small part of LGBT culture, the point is to show that fraternity men- often a hyper-masculine culture that epitomizes sexism and homophobia- at GW are not ashamed or afraid to defy that culture that is so frequently exhibited by frat boys. It takes courage as a man to openly dress as a woman, especially in front of so many people. I applaud the men who stepped out of their comfort zones and did it to show support for ANYONE who is not heteronormative, not just gays.
