Steven Kaye, a senior and member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, performs a skit as part of Greek Week. He was part of Team Aphrodite, which included members from Alpha Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Kappa Phi Lambda and Lambda Upsilon Lambda. The annual event brings 40 chapters from the Inter-Fraternity Council, the Panhellenic Association and the Multicultural Greek Council together.

Steven Kaye of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania did a meritorious job of acting out his part. However, I feel the need to question the efforts that others put in to make the skit realistic. First of all, any Greek worth his salt knows fully well that Hercules doesn’t go anywhere without the skin of the Nemean Lion, which does not appear present during the skit. Furthermore, while I can totally buy into the idea that Aphrodite falls for Hercules so quickly and easily (I know first hand how pathetically low her standards are), I feel a fantastic opportunity to add multiple layers to this story was missed. It’s common knowledge that Hercules was married to Omphale. How did she react to Hercules’ newfound love? And where was his sidekick Hylas the entire time? Overall, I give the performance a III out of V stars.
What the hell are you talking about? And this Steven Kaye was decent at best. Who wears sneakers and a toga? Amateur.
