The archaic management strategies at the university, coupled with poor vision in major academic areas including the Columbian College, leave much to be desired. Whatever amount of money was spent on the design could have been better spent overhauling management practices, eliminating excess and repetitive positions, or could be coupled with some of the savings from decreasing the bloated salaries of top university officials to reshape classroom facilities, overhaul aging housing facilities for underclassman, or invest in student space on campus.
