Administrators sure dont take student surveys into account. There are some amazing professors here that dont get the recognition they deserve and others that are universally known for being horrible to students that just keep on getting classes to teach. People need to be more respectful on this website, not conduct themselves with the manners of GW administrators. It is true that there are other ways to judge someone besides a survey, obviously. However, to receive such demonstrably negative surveys from people who know exactly what they are talking about shows widespread, systematic failure. This is Barrat's fault, but more importantly it is the fault of her bosses, Knapp and the Board of Directors. Getting rid of Barrat, won't do anything to solve this systematic problem. It's just a person to fall on the sword. This amount of improvement in tenure is not something to brag about, considering where the school started. The underlying problems are only being exacerbated, while Knapp tries to cover them up with glitter with the help of the Hatchet.
