Men’s Water Polo

The men’s water polo team won all four of its games during the weekend’s Princeton Invitational, including a 9-8 overtime win over No. 17 Santa Clara Saturday. The Colonials (4-3) also beat Queens College, Fordham and Iona by an average margin of five goals.

Men’s Soccer

The men’s soccer team went 1-1 over the weekend, losing 2-1 Friday against Winthrop before beating North Florida 4-3 in overtime Sunday in Longwood University’s Lancer Invitational held in Farmville, Va. Senior goalie Greg Yahr made a career-high 10 saves against Winthrop.

Volleyball

The volleyball team went 2-1 during the Lafayette College Tournament in Easton, Pa., but suffered an additional loss when senior captain and leading scorer Janine Brown sprained her knee during before Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Maryland-Eastern Shore. The injury is not serious, Brown said, and she expects to play this weeknd.
