Disorderly Conduct

10/21 – 2100 Block of H Street – 2:35 a.m. – case closed
The University Police Department received a report of a disorderly male in the area. When officers responded, they found two males who were in a verbal disagreement with each other. Officers determined neither male was affiliated with the University and barred both from campus.

10/21 – Lafayette Hall – 5:15 p.m. – case closed

A GW employee notified UPD that a student had contacted her on her cell phone to complain about issues in his room. The employee told the student he should not call the phone number because it was for emergency use only. The student called the number again, despite the employee’s warnings, and was referred to Student Judicial Services.

Simple Assault

10/19 – Medical Faculty Associates Building – 11:05 a.m. – case closed

The incident began as a verbal altercation between a male patient of the Medical Faculty Associates and an employee. The patient then assaulted the employee, slapping him on the face and pulling his hair. Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived on the scene to investigate. They did not make any immediate arrests due to the investigation. The patient was barred from campus.

Liquor Law Violation

10/21 – Fulbright Hall – 3:00 a.m. – case closed

A male student called UPD because he felt an extremely intoxicated friend needed medical attention. EMeRG and D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived to evaluate the intoxicated male student. The student was going in and out of consciousness during the incident.

10/21 – Potomac House – 2:32 a.m. – case closed

Officers responsed to a call for a sick individual and found a male vomiting in a bathroom. The individual had also urinated on himself. Officers determined the male was not affiliated with the University. Officers notified D.C. Fire and EMeRG. D.C. Fire transported the individual to Georgetown Hospital.

10/20 – Thurston Hall – 1:07 a.m. – case closed

UPD received a noise complaint in Thurston Hall. When officers arrived, they identified an underage individual as the source of the noise complaint. Officers discovered the student had been drinking and disposed of the alcohol.

10/19 – West End Hall – 12:20 a.m. – case closed

UPD was contacted about a noise complaint in the West End. Officers identified the room that was causing the complaint and found four underage students in the room with open alcohol containers. The officers disposed of all of the alcohol on the scene, and the four male students were reported to SJS.
