The Nov. 3 article “GW readies for 2013 accreditation” (p. 12) incorrectly stated GW’s next accreditation date. The next accreditation will actually take place in 2008 – the same year the University’s self-study must be completed. GW will undergo a periodic review in 2013, which is completed halfway through each 10-year accreditation cycle.
Also, due to mistakes made the production process, the name of the article’s author was spelled incorrectly. Lindsey Hartmann wrote the story.
In the Nov. 3 article titled “Debate society enjoys rebirth” (p. 7), a quote was attributed to a student identified as Foster, whose first name was not stated. The quote came from senior Dan Foster, speaker of the Enosinian Society.
